At its March meeting, the PBAC has recommended the removal of age restrictions from all PBS listings of hepatitis C DAA regimens.

If implemented, the recommendation will make access to subsidised treatment via the PBS possible for children and adolescents under the age of 18.

The recommendation is one of several to come out of the PBAC's March meeting, following issues raised in the Hepatitis C stakeholder meeting held in December last year.
