On 28 June 2022, a Viral Hepatitis Nurse from SA Health will visit Port Pirie to provide rapid hepatitis C testing. This special drop-in clinic will run from 10am to 4pm at the Port Pirie GP Plus Health Care Centre, 50 Gertrude St. Bookings are recommended but not required. Results are available in an hour and can be delivered via a phone call.
Hepatitis SA provides confidential support for people affected by viral hepatitis, including a telephone information and support line, face-to-face information sessions and regular support groups at Port Adelaide and Hackney.

Our educators have up-to-date knowledge about hepatitis, testing, treatment options and related issues. Our teams also include peer educators who have personal experiences relevant to their client groups.
Hepatitis SA runs four Clean Needle Program (CNP) sites at Hackney, Noarlunga, Port Adelaide, and Salisbury, as well as a syringe vending machine at Hackney. Our CNP Peers also attend rostered sessions at other sites at various times during the week.
