Introduction
Hepatitis B and hepatitis C are the leading causes of liver cancer in Australia. Many people with chronic hepatitis are unaware of their condition. Hepatitis C can be cured and hepatitis B effectively prevented or managed. Australia has signed up to the World Health Organisation’s goal of eliminating viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030.
Hepatitis SA is offering small grants of up to $500 to community services to organise activities to raise awareness about viral hepatitis.
Applications close 28 June 2024.
Eligibility
This grant is open to community organisations/services which would otherwise have no access to funding for viral hepatitis related activities. Rural and remote services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, and multi-cultural community organisations are encouraged to apply.
When
Your small grant activity should occur in the weeks around World Hepatitis Day on 28 July 2024. Dates are negotiable. If you are unable to schedule it close to that date or would like to spread the activity over a longer period, please contact us to discuss your ideas.

The money will be then be released to your organisation before the event. If your organisation cannot provide a tax invoice, please speak to Cecilia on 8362 8443, or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
